New home and puppy

Let's start this off with everyone's favorite  new little member of the family... Charlie!

Ain't he cute? We adopted him this past week.

Ok, now onto Selah. We visited the San Antonio zoo last week. Where Selah was playing her usual role as a bug...

And indulging in one of her favorite treats

Ok, now back to that puppy-

This was the first day we brought him home. Selah seemed hesitant at first, but they're warming up to one another. She mostly likes him when he's safely contained on the other side of the baby gate, or in Daddy's arms. Charlie seems to like Selah, but he tackles her any chance he gets. And he's half her size!

And here we are practicing walking! We are VERY proud to announce that she took her first solo step on Friday. She's practicing just a step or two every day, but I tell her it's the best defense she has against Charlie's kisses, to get up and try to walk away!
