16 months

Time to brag a little! Selah turned 16 months old yesterday and everyday it seems like she is learning so much. Every morning she wakes me up with a kiss and says Mama, mama. At bedtime she whispers and says night-night. She is learning her animal sounds, she roars like a lion and moos like a cow. She climbs on EVERYTHING, pretends to talk on the phone and even helps me unload the dishwasher and throws things in the trash when I ask her to. She knows "diaper" when it's time for a clean one or knows when it's time to go downstairs and watch Elmo (who she asks for by name- elMO!) She loves to be read to and look through her books, and has a few favorites that she always picks out. In some of her books she points to babies and gives them a kiss, and in one book she kisses the guinea pig! She knows where her nose is, her belly, her head, her ears, and everyday she helps brush and floss her teeth. I just love it. Here is a list of the words she says: hi, bye, thank you, no, yes, oh-no, nana, apple, ball, cat, elmo, dog, nose, hamster, hot dog, all gone, papa, mama, dada, purple, baby, duck.
